Visited twice on this trip and the 2 gentlemen employees working at night provided such such an impressive level of service that I purposefully sought out leaving a review. Immediate greeting, attentive offer to assist, speedily powering through the checkout process by negating the tip option on the credit card machine & upselling their dining options of pizza & sandwiches - which worked! We came back the 2nd night just to pick up a pizza, thanks to the cashier, and it was pretty good! Thanks for making out-of-towners feel comfortable! The food store offers hand scooped ice cream, hot pizza, sandwiches, a few beach accessories & the usual gas station fare of snacks & drinks.

Haven’t tried the brisket pizza yet but that’s tomorrow’s lunch! I will say the Hersheys ice cream is phenomenal!!! We are from Tx and we have never seen Hershey Ice cream. The dude that runs the store is cool as a fan as well! If you’re in town you have to stop in!!

Oh my never judge a book by its cover!!! Never would of thought that this beach store would not only have cheese burgers but probably one of the best pizza spots on the whole beach. Make sure you get the lunch box special a personal pan pizza 7"in , and a 32 oz drink was just $9.99 and that's crazy cheap for the beach. So dont be shy stop on by the PAN AM FOOD STORE for some killer pizza !

My husband & I were on our way to DG to grab snacks bc our last min "one more night" stay Lodge we stayed at didn't have a microwave. As soon as we passed this store, I remembered I saw it on maps w/a good review & we stopped there. I'm so glad we did. The man who owns the store is SO kind & I'm hard of hearing, so I couldn't hear where he was telling us he gets his ingredients for his pizza, but his enthusiasm was enough to sell us on it. We got a beef brisket pizza & were so glad we did! He had every reason to be proud of it. It was a great pizza, even more so for a corner store pizza. It was a great end to our last evening as we came back , had a good pizza, watched Friends reruns as it rained outside & tomorrow we will be going back to get ice cream & it's a bonus to meet with a smiling face I hope visitors continue to help keep small stores like this open in Panama City!

I love this places Pizza, I make sure to stop by there anytime I can for it. I'd definitely suggest giving it a try, they have the best cheese I've ever had with a pizza.

Absolutely the most delicious ice cream! I had the coffee crunch and it was so fresh and tasty. I would literally eat this ice cream every day if I could. The staff is so attentive and friendly. Sunscreen prices are $1-3 cheaper here than next door.
